Water Conservation

Connect the Dots recognizes the daunting task in researching and understanding what needs to be fixed, purchased, and installed to effectively conserve water. Let our GREEN START staff coordinate with conservation programs in your area to help you save water.

For instance, if your organization operates in San Francisco, the Green Start program connects you with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Water Conservation program, available for businesses as well as residents. SFPUC has simplified the process to provide valuable information and equipment so you can make informed decisions. Their service includes a walk-through inspection of your facilities that can result in:

• FREE water saving equipment (sink aerators, showerhead, Teflon tape, etc.) for immediate installation
• List of repairs necessary to address water leaks
• Detailed analysis report identifying additional water-saving steps, including eligibility for rebates. Examples: up to $400 rebate to upgrade washers, up to $300 to switch to a high-efficiency toilet, etc.
• FREE water-saving tenant kits with signs to post in your facilities as constant reminders to conserve our precious resources.
