Connect the Dots encourages grantmakers and donors to adopt a nonprofit's dream to go green. You play a critical part in bringing environmental sustainability to those affected by the Green Start program.

When you sponsor a nonprofit's participation in our Green Start program, you enable the organization to:

• stay focused on the delivery of their missions
• concentrate on committing financial investments to necessary facilities upgrades
• dedicate staff resources to coordinate ongoing sustainability efforts
• realize significant cost savings (typically greater than your sponsorship investment) on an ongoing basis

Green Start sponsors help their funds go further as nonprofits save money and reduce their environmental impact starting the year the grant is made and continuing for many years into the future. These saved funds go towards mission-oriented program work rather than towards utility bills. By helping nonprofits get their Green Start, sponsor extend their personal environmental commitment externally to your grantee networks and the communities they serve.

We provide sponsors with online access to our project site to track the activities involved in greening your adopted facility, as well as, a project summary of the environmental and financial savings gained at your sponsored facility.
